Custom itineraries through vineyards, medieval towns and the hills that made this region famous. We build the route together, then we drive it — stopping wherever the light is good.
Door to door, by the hour or by the day. Dinner across town, a wedding in the hills, a full day at your disposal — the van and the driver stay yours for as long as you need them.
Florence, Pisa, Rome, Bologna, plus the cruise terminals at Livorno and La Spezia. We track your flight, meet you in the arrivals hall with a name sign, and carry the bags.
Tuscany's wine roads, tasted properly. Two or three cellars in a day, lunch among the vines, and absolutely no reason to count your glasses — that part is handled.
The van
One vehicle, kept immaculate — because one vehicle is all it takes when it is the right one. Individual leather seats, generous legroom, climate control throughout, and enough luggage space for a family arriving from a long flight. Cold water is always on board.
I drive, you drink
The best cellars in Tuscany are down white gravel roads with no signposts, and they pour generously. That combination is a problem unless someone else is driving. Tell us which wines you love — Sangiovese, Brunello, a Super Tuscan — and the day gets built around them.

Most days start in Florence. Where they end is up to you — we regularly cross into Umbria, Liguria and Lazio, and longer runs to Rome, Milan or the Amalfi Coast are no problem.

Ellis To Go is Ellis and his partner Marco. Between them they cover Florence and Tuscany every day of the week, and they have built the whole service around one idea: a private driver should make the day better, not just move you across it.
Ellis is a tour leader as well as a chauffeur. He will tell you what you are looking at, which trattoria is worth the detour, and which piazza to skip in August. Guests tend to describe the same three things afterwards: he is funny, he knows everything, and the van is spotless.

Good to know
Noleggio con conducente is a separate, specifically licensed category of Italian professional transport. An NCC vehicle cannot be hailed in the street or picked up at a taxi rank: every journey is arranged in advance, with a named passenger and an agreed route.
In practice that means you always know who is driving, in which vehicle, for what price, agreed before you travel. No meter, no surge, no surprises at the end.
Questions
Up to 7 passengers plus the driver, with luggage. The Mercedes V-Class has individual seats, so seven adults travel comfortably rather than just legally. If your group is larger, tell us — we can arrange a second trusted vehicle.
No prepayment is required to reserve. You pay at the end of the service, in cash or by card, and you receive a proper invoice. The price is agreed in writing before you travel and does not change.
Give us your flight number when you book and we track it. Pick-up shifts automatically to the real landing time, and waiting time at the airport is included — you will not be charged for a delay that is not yours.
Yes, and we recommend it — the good small estates need reserving, sometimes weeks ahead in high season. Tell us what you like and we will arrange the stops, then build the driving around them.
Regularly. Cinque Terre, Portofino, Rome, Assisi, Bologna, Lake Como and the Amalfi Coast are all doable, as day trips or one-way transfers. Long distances are quoted individually.
Seven: Italian, English, Chinese, Spanish, German, Albanian and Danish. Most of our guests are English-speaking, but the commentary during a tour is given in whichever of the seven suits your group best — which matters more than people expect on a long day in the car.
Yes, at no extra charge — infant seats and boosters both. Just tell us the children's ages when you book so the right seats are fitted before we collect you.
There is one van, so popular dates go early — for April to October, a few weeks ahead is wise. That said, always ask: last-minute gaps happen, and we would rather drive than not.
